Spring is such a beautiful time of the year! When I think of Spring, I imagine beautiful flowers covered in dew in the morning, a fresh, cool breeze whisping through my hair. (Not a real word, but this is my blog, right?). Renewal after a long, seemingly lifeless season. There are so many inspirational quotes that remind me of Spring, as well and I’m believing that this year is going to be my year of jubilee! So, for today, I’ve made these cute Hello Spring 8″ x 10″ printables (JPEG files) to brighten up our home and of course, I want to share them with you! Because I love contrast so much, the dark is my fave.
Hello Spring Printables!
Quotes That Inspire Me
“Bloom where you are planted.”
This is one that I’ve always thought was cute but never put much thought into until recently. This year, I’ve come to realize that chasing the idea that I will do _____ when my life is “in order” or finances are perfect is causing me to miss out on so many opportunities. We can’t always choose our situation, but we can choose to grow no matter where we are. This year, I choose to grow through all the things that are trying to hold me back. Fears, insecurities, worry and impatience have been my biggest struggles. This year, I choose to bloom right here even though things are tough sometimes. I hope you do too!
“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.” –Audrey Hepburn
What a beautiful demonstration of the faith we have and often don’t give ourselves credit for! Sowing seeds to day in faith that we will reap the harvest when the time is right, whether it’s in the garden or in our everyday life.
“Where flowers bloom, so does hope.” -Lady Bird Johnson
If you think about it, flowers bloom out of something visibly unremarkable. Dirt… and not just dirt, but often dirt that’s full of rocks, sand and clay. Not much can stop a sprout from popping up if there’s sunshine above! Hope is often the same. The most beautiful kinds of hope spring up out of the dark and broken places in our souls. I have this hope in the depths of my soul! (If you need some music to inspire you further, listen to this song by Tenth Avenue North!)
“There are always flowers for those who want to see them.” -Henri Matisse
What a beautiful reminder to keep our hearts in the right place during a season of struggle. The decision is ours: become hardened and keep our eyes down or seek out the good we can find.
“Happiness is the art of making a bouquet of those flowers within reach.” -Bob Goddard
An old quote that always makes me laugh (and shift gears into a thankful, go-getter mentality) goes along well with this one. “Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.” -Boyd K. Packer
God cares about us always!
Every season brings us into a new mind set. I believe God planned it that way to keep us moving forward and to teach us to stand still in different times of our life. Make this Spring about faith and hope, no matter what your circumstances look like.
